This is a great book and it helps those who tend to carry the burden of others to do so with joy and from a place of victory.

We've all known those gloomy intercessors who make prayer a burden and a chore. While we do not deny the agony and travail that sometimes accompanies intercession, Beni shows us how to grab a hold of the joy of intercession.

I have read broadly the literature on prayer, particularly on intercession from the classics to the contemporary, and this is one of the best and most helpful that I've read. Jesus is our prayer model and is our great Intercessor at the right hand of the Father. To be an intercessor is to be invited into His spiritual ministry and it is a ministry of joy.

Beni shares her personal journey as someone who did NOT want to be an intercessor to someone who delights in it. But this is not mere fluff, but solid teaching that takes us into the heart of God. The insights are deep and helpful.
