I received my copy only 4 days after ordering! I am extremely impressed with this Bible! It is very satisfying to know that there is a genuine interest in preserving this sacred,& cherished milestone in human history! Many people need this in their lives each & every day these days.I will enjoy very greatly,& with all gratitude to God,reading this very sacred book every day.It is very well bound & sturdy,able to endure for years to come,& is very pleasant to look at.It just makes you want to absorb yourself within the pages of it's majestic beauty! My deepest gratitude to CBD for having such a wonderful product available for a reasonable price.I have enjoyed the majestic literary beauty of the 'King James' Bible since I was a young boy,& was able to understand it naturally,without any difficulty.It is sad to see that these days so very many "New" translations have appeared that simply can NEVER compare to the majesty,or timeless beauty of the KJV!! & most of them are very tampered with as well!!! I have done extensive research on this matter,& it is alarming to say the least! My sincere,& deepest plea to all people everywhere is to stay grounded in the only reliable & trustworthy translation we have,which IS the KJV! "If it aint broke,then don't fix it"!! They got it right in 1611.They never needed to attempt to render it a thousand different ways since then! This product I will cherish! I say to all that I highly recommend it to all my fellow KJV lovers out there if you would like to have a faithful replica of the original.The day may come when you may never be able to aquire this translation again,the way things seem to be going these days! I have wanted an original copy of the 1611 edition of the King James Bible with all of the original words, spellings, font, and layout, which this edition does. The many changes, especially in spelling, between a recently printed King James Bible and the 1611 edition shows how much language changes over time even when the text is the same. Thank God for the work of editors for the thousands of detailed changes they make to keep the text consistent with modern English!

This historic and accessible facsimile edition of the King James commissioned 1611 translation of the Holy Bible is an amazing way to experience one of the most definitive early English editions. It comes complete with the Apocrypha and an introductory essay about the importance of the 1611 edition. I prefer the Old English, it feels more historic; and the artistic nature of the lettering and overall layout (as well as the cover art for both the Old and New Testaments) give this edition a very elegant feel.

This King James Version of the Bible covers up the original mistakes of the original 1611 King James Version that are important when looking at it from a historical perspective. In the introduction it mentions that the original 1611 KJV had a few errors, which is true. The introduction also claims that these errors were left in this replica in order to maintain the workmanship of the original, but after reading the passage that were supposed to contain mistakes, I found them edited by the publisher. I am very disappointed in their editing of the original 1611 King James Version; it takes away the authenticity and historical value in my opinion.

Quite good . The medieval language used provides a nice antiquarian feel to the text . The printing itself is somewhat compact and could benefit from a larger font .

I have enjoyed reading from this bible. It is interesting to see how the english has changed from 1611 to the present day. I also found that the original text is much closer to the Hebrew and Greek than what we have today. This will be a treasured addition to anyone's library.

We have a different use of our alphabet now than they did at the time this book was published. It is the authentic 1611 KJV Holy Bible and there for I stand for it however the "u" and the "v" are flipped at times and makes it hard to read. For example: Matthew 22:29 Iesus answered, and said vnto them, Yee doe erre, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. It is also roman numeral and the "I" is used as a "J" at time and extra letters are used. For and everyday Bible I would not recommend this one.

My Bible was delivered just four days after my order. It's a beautiful book and the engraved name on the cover is perfect. The Scriptures are surprisingly easy to read. I wish I also had an electronic version to provide excerpts in my printed church bulletins.
