Whether it's three people or thirty, every church has a leadership team. But how effective is it? Geared specifically for vocational Christian leaders (pastors, parachurch executives), Gangel's guide addresses such issues as spiritual leadership, recruiting, delegating responsibility, communicating, decision-making, long-range planning, and more. Includes self-evaluation questions, sample job descriptions, and other helpful tools and illustrations. 336 pages, softcover from Baker.

Review 1 for Feeding and Leading: A Practical Handbook on Administration in Churches and Christian Organizations

The best overall book on Church Leadership and Administration I have read. The only reason I didn't give it a 5-star rating is the hardback version I have is from 1989 and needs to be updated. I do not know if the 2000 paperback version has been updated.
