Use this as a three week study at my weekly prison Bible study and the inmates were really enthralled and abhorred the violence Christ endured.

I purchased this dvd as a Christmas gift, however, I own a copy and I watch it every Easter. It is a very graphic, and accurate portrail of the events that took place.

This is a true masterpiece! I love the fact that this movie does not candy coat the last 12 hours of Jesus' life. It is a must see dvd. I think it is great to be able to visualize the astounding Love that god has for all of us...

The only way to top this movie on DVD is to see it in the theater. I almost didn't see this in the theater as I can't watch blood and gore - it makes me shaky and cold. I am so glad that I did, though, as the movie was filmed as if I was part of the action - I was THERE when my Jesus gave His life for me. This movie brings home the message of what Christ did for us on the cross every time we watch it.

If i could-i would give this a 10! it is the best movie-of the lord's last 12 hrs.- that i have ever seen! It's truly biblical-and as close to the bible [facts] as i have ever seen---[and i'm a great-grandmother-so i have seen a lot!!]<br /><br />Hi praise-to mr.gibson & his whole cast and crew! great actors too! it really shows how dedicated they were to telling the true story! This has got to be "the greatest" witnessing tool in video form that has been produced in many years [or ever]! It is truly biblical as to just what a horrible, painful experience Jesus Christ went through "out of love" for all of us making it possible for us to join him in heaven after we die! For anyone interested they just need to watch the movie; it is 'right-on' with the Bible!

This is so much more enjoyable than in the "postage stamp" format. Thank you for having it available in full-screen. Would I recommend it - absolutely. This is definitely my favorite movie of all times. It makes you feel like "You are Therre." (Does anyone remember that show?)This is not a movie to watch. It is to be experienced to the fullest.

This is such a great movie but not always great to watch. I watched the movie only for the 2nd time on the Thursday before Easter just to remind myself what Christ did for me upon the Cross. I think the movie is a great gift idea for a person who recently accepted Christ.

I hadn't seen this movie since it's original release in the theaters a few years ago. I watched it on Good Friday and was again humbled by Christ's sacrifice and the suffering he experienced for me. I'm going to try to watch it every year on Good Friday!!! Really impacted me!!

A totally amazing portrayal of how much God loves every one of us. Some say they can't watch this movie because of the graphic violence that is shown when Jesus suffered so much, but He did this FOR US, so we certainly can see what He went through for ALL of us! If you love the Lord, you will appreciate this movie and it will confirm how much the Lord loves you.

Wonderful film, this should make every believer in the Body of Christ realize just what our Lord gave up for us. Some day when we have Jesus with us in heaven, I want to thank Him personally. We know that what He endured was many times greater than this film has the capacity to show.

A very realistic drama used to capture the Passion of The Christ. This will really touch your heart & help you see what suffering Christ went thru for us. We know it was far worse then this movie portrays, but he loves us so much that he went thru it so we might be saved. This will definitely touch your heart. Mel Gibson did a great job directing this movie & the cast did a wonderful performance. I recommend this movie.

I have never seen such a powerful depiction of the crucifixion. I cried from the beginning of this movie till the end. I must admit, it was hard to watch what took place that day. but it was eye opening. I needed to see this. i was made realistic in my mind, how much Jesus went through physically for me. what he went through spiritually is beyond our comprehension. I would recommend this film to anyone saved and definitely unsaved. This may change their life.
