LovinJesusRedding, CAAge: 55-65Gender: female5 Stars Out Of 5Gave this book to a friend who lost her husband.May 11, 2012LovinJesusRedding, CAAge: 55-65Gender: femaleQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I gave this book to a good friend of mine who had just lost her husband, along with another book "Coping With The Loss of a Spouse" because I was desperate to help her and didn't know how. These two books together answered so many of the questions she didn't even know she had and helped her tremendously during those initial days. She thanked me over and over, so I know they were exactly what was needed. I'm blessed to have found the information I needed on Christianbook.com to be able to give comfort to someone who needed it desperately. Not having lost a spouse, I was unsure of what would help - these books certainly did.

Patricia Butler5 Stars Out Of 5A very helpful bookMarch 6, 2011Patricia ButlerQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5One of the first places I turned to after my husband went to heaven last fall was CBD, because I knew it would be a good source of books to help me through the grieving process. This book has been one of the best. I judge how helpful the grief support books are to me by the amount of highlighting in them by the time I finish reading, and this one has a lot. She also includes a helpful list of other resources at the back of the book. I've ordered a copy for a friend whose husband recently passed away, because I don't want to give my copy away. I know I'll read it again as I go through this difficult process.

It has helped me understand some of what I am going through with the recent death of my one and only son.It is one book that is a must and one you will find yourself frequently using. It helps to know what youare going through is part of the grieving process and in time with God, friends and some therapy surviving is possible.

Joyce Eastin4 Stars Out Of 5July 20, 2009Joyce EastinI was given this book after my husband passed 21 years ago and have given it to my friends who have lost loved ones. It is one of the best Christian resources I have found. And it is small and easy to read. I find it a tremendous help .
