I always like to purchase a new Christmas DVD each year. I picked this one to see how a Scrooge would change into a non Scrooge. The storyline was well-written. I thoroughly enjoyed this DVD.

My wife and I really enjoyed this Christmas film very much! We watch it often even after Christmas. Henry Winkler really makes this come alive and the lines are funny and very entertaining without swearing or sexual slurs. I have already recommended it and bought a second copy locally to share with friends who want to borrow it.

It was a typical "Christmas" movie without the Christ of Christmas. That being said, I found the movie to be entertaining and for the most part, well done. Henry Winkler is always fun to watch, and his part as the older uncle is quite adequate. The biggest problem I have with this and other "Christmas" movies being made today is the way they leave out the true meaning of the Holiday. It seems to be another way to get Americans comfortable with "Happy Holidays" rather than "Merry Christmas". Gaiam publications seem to do this with all of their products.

It is a story where a single, scrooge-like mom meets the right man to marry and learns with her six year-old son that miracles can happen especially at Christmas. We found it enjoyable, in spite of ourselves not believing in Santa Claus.
