I am a sucker for Christmas movies but as each year goes by I am saddened by the increasing lack of reference to Jesus Christ as the heart of Christmas. While it is true that our gracious God allows the whole world to sense His goodness, when we who know Him personally celebrate His birthday it should not be about a fictional character, but about Him. This movie, though well produced and acted, does nothing to honor our God or draw people to Him.

A great movie for the whole family.Candace gets so busy @ Christmas time with her work. Then when things change she comes home for Christmas. An inspiration movie. There's a special bond with her and her Dad to save the town's business. Her whole life is changed has seen a different outlook on life. To save the town and make it very important to the whole town. A great ending to one you never expect to end that way.

I may have rated this a half star higher because I'm a pushover for a romantic Christmas movie. The story line was a little predictable for me, because I love to guess what'll happen next, but I'm also a fan of Tom Arnold's effervescent personality. The plot was a classic contrast between cold, greedy worldly desires and warm, loving Christmas traditions. Characters were cast appropriately to convey the obvious "villan," but the ending is kept secret right up to the end of the program. Makes you wish you could visit Santaville this Christmas! Story line includes reconcilliation, generosity, forgiveness, believing, kindness, and determination. Great story for all ages!
