Reading the first in the series made me order the other two. From the descriptions of Pullman, I'd love to go and visit, just to put visuals to my imagination. I really enjoy historical fiction and this did not disappoint. The dual perspective presented--the rich and the workers--made for a great read.

Loved it! Olivia Mott and Lady Charlotte leave England for America weaving a web of lies along the way. As they begin a new life in the town of Pullman, Il will Olivia be truthful with her new employer. Will she admit her deceit to Fred, of whom she feels much affection? Will Charlotte reconcile with her babies father? How will Olivia deal with Mr Howard and his unwelcome advances? Can't wait to read books two and three!

This is a great book, but the ending really leaves you hanging. Luckily, there are two sequels. It is a wonderful series. I would definitely recommend them. I give the three of them together five stars!

This was a really enjoyable book.There was a good message about honesty,but I really loved the historical feel of the book. You really get a glimpse of what it may have been like to live in those times. Great Read!

Olivia Mott was miserable. She finds a way out, but in the process lies must be told. When she lands in Pullman, Illinois, her job, even her very life, may depend on her keeping the truth from everyone she meets. She devises a way to keep track of her tall-tales, but shes not sure it will be enough to avoid the looming trouble she feels is following her. In the meantime, she catches the eye of two of the towns eligible bachelors. She must learn to manage her lies, her new occupation and her heart.The first in the Postcards From Pullman series, In the Company of Secrets takes readers back to 1892 and gives a grand picture of what life was like then. Olivia struggles to fend for herself and finds herself in over her head on more than one occasion.Readers who enjoy historical Christian fiction will find this book charming. The only frustration I found was the ending, or lack thereof. Its a great lead-in to the next book in the series, but leaves the reader feeling left in the dark. I highly recommend this book, but warn readers to be prepared to buy the next book in the series as well. :)
