Great read but dragged a little in spots and ended suddenly. Hopefully, the next book in the series will fill in some of the gaps.

This story is supposed to be centered around a young woman, Opal, who makes many foolish decisions for her life. Even though she comes to see herself differently as the story moves along, it is Jacob who caught this reader's eye. Ms. Snelling uses good dialog sequences and keeps her story moving, but unfortunately, by the ending I was left empty and disappointed. I will try another of her books and hope to be better satisfied.

I loved this series. It kept me entertained and looking forward to the next book. I felt that this series showed how much God can change peoples lives.

I loved this book, and I want to read the other ones in this series. I really liked how the characters were so life like. A lot of people take the blame for things that aren't even their fault. I do wish that it hadn't been such a cliff hanger, it ends a little too soon. Also, it really didn't make sense why Atticus acted the way he did. Even so, it is a wonderful, and Per is so cute!

Well, I didn't love this book. But I didn't hate it, either. I just thought there would be more between Opal and Jacob. I think this book seems rushed, just like Pearl was.

Another great installment. It took awhile to get going and I wished there would have been more scenes with Rand and Ruby, but I absolutely loved Opal and the new men in her life, Atticus and Jacob. I thought it was very good that the book delved into Jacob's sin. It gave a good example that not every Christian is perfect, and when they slip up, they can regret it for the rest of their lives. I wonder why on this website it says Jacob's last name was Fitzgerald or something like that? Thankfully, in the book, it was Chandler. I cannot wait for the next book! I hope it comes soon!

I once again couldn't put this book down. It proves that we are all human,r egardless of our love for our Heavenly Father. But once again this author left me hanging! Can't wait for the next book in this series..Very good read.
