I absolutely adored this version of "Little Women"! Because it covered almost everything that happened in the book, the script was sometimes slightly different than the book. But that didn't bother me; they stayed so close to the actual storyline. I was so impressed! The actors were well chosen, and the only complaint I have was that Laurie tended to be a little flat. But the March girls were just as vibrant as their book counterparts. And Mr. Brooke and the Professor were excellently portrayed... exactly as I imagined them. For those of you who haven't read the book, this is a clean, wholesome DVD. Perfect for families. If you are an Alcott fan, you MUST get this DVD! You won't regret it.

I have been looking for this version of Little Women for a long time! I loved it when it was on television years ago, and wanted my girls to watch it with me now that I have daughters!
