This is our 1st year homeschooling. We first started out with another History and Geography curriculum and it was hard, hard for my 10 year old daughter to follow and very hard for me to teach. I happened to find ACE Pace and thought we'd give this one a try. What a great find! My daughter can move through this curriculum with no guidance from me and she remembers it all and finishes the work easily. This is by far her favorite curriculum, after trial and error with other brands. She loves it so much, as do I, that we will switch next year to all ACE Pace! The material is easy to read and the questions follow the sequence of the reading material, so she isn't having to hunt for the answers, makes it easy.

Our 3 school aged daughters absolutely love Pace booklets. We learned about ACE cirriculum 2 years ago and have tried their Social Studies, Science, and English. As a homeschool teacher I especially appreciate the simple approach and lay out of the curriculum which makes it easy to correct, and I also love the repetition and continual review throughout the booklet which I believe enhances learning retention.

As a bonus our girls also enjoy the Christ centered little comic strips at the top of each new section that gently instill character building values of kindness, tolerance, diligence, and so much more.

I highly recommend this curriculum to all homeschool parents, especially if you are new to homeschooling and find other curriculums to be challenging to navigate.

One thing we noticed is that the curriculum seems to be about 1 grade level behind other major curriculums like ABEKA or Christian Light Education. We simply ordered one grade above and all 3 girls had no trouble at all completing the 10 booklets.
