Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum has Scripture as its foundation, fully integrating biblical principles, wisdom, and character-building concepts into education. Students move at their own speed through the self-instructional "PACE" workbooks. Following the mastery approach, PACEs are formatted for students to complete the exercises found throughout the workbook, take a practice "self test," and conclude with a "final test" (torn out from the center), to measure understanding.

This set includes Science Grade 6 PACEs 1061-1072, which cover:

Theories, properties, and laws of magnetism, and the uses of magnets; acids, bases,elements, solvents, solutes, and solutions in chemistry; higher and lower plants, and the process ofphotosynthesis.

The central nervous system, the senses, the structure and function of the skeletal andmuscular systems, infectious and noninfectious diseases, treatment of and defense against diseases,and digestion and nutrition.

New knowledge of previously introduced character traits..

We had been using a computer curriculum for everything when my daughter expressed an interest in using workbooks, so thought we'd give this a try just for science. She did so well after the first unit, that we added social studies, too! Lots of repetition and review, and I'm sure this format isn't for everyone, but if you know what kind of learner you are teaching this is great. Also of course love that The Creator is emphasized above all.
