Familyman Ministries To Bethlehem Game: The Christmas Game for the Entire Family

Finally, a fun game to sit down and play 'round the Christmas tree! Be the first to reach the Newborn King...but beware, there'll be expenses along the way! Each player starts out with 5 shekels, and has to navigate around "Trader Moe's Camel Parking" and complete numerous zany tasks as they attempt to make their way to Bethlehem. With a number of fun options, and over 70 ancient Roman plastic coins to play with, this is one game your kids might beg to play year-round!

If your children are older than 6, I don't think this is the game for you. It's for very young children - they dress like a shepherd, flush the toilet, do jumping jacks. It doesn't really discuss the meaning of Christmas - just some silly fun for very small children. Adults will probably hide it forever after Christmas is over :)

I purchased this to give to my kids as a Christmas gift but decided to give to them now. They love this game and played more than once in a night. It is simple enough that even little one can play along but also enough fun or goofy things it make it very entertaining for the rest of the family. The have spots like, put a towel on your head like a shepard, and get up and flush the toilet. Everyone in the house has the words to "Silent Night" memorized (another space you can land on). Definately recommend to those who enjoy playing games with the kids.

Great game for Christmastime (or any time). I don't know when my children and I have laughed so hard playing a game. By the time we all had towels on our heads, we were goners. What fun!

I can hardly wait to give this gift at Christmas -- quality time and good clean family fun at this hectic time of the year is rare in this day and age and I can't think of a nicer way to enjoy Christmas with family and friends while learning and renewing the Christmas Spirit.

My family just played this game for the first time. It is silly and fun so if you're a straight laced person you'll need to loosen up and just give it a try. My daughter wasn't to fond of putting socks on her hands but other than that we laughed a lot. It also helps put you in the Christmas mood because we ended up singing a lot of Christmas carols.

We have had this game for three years now. We love it! It comes down after Thanksgiving and is played lots. I love the campfire questions and it brings moments of sharing. Not to mention crazy laughing over the towel shepherds, bathroom breaks (we modified this so you have to go and make flushing noises), and singing your favorite carols! Playing with Grandparents is even greater!

Our entire family has enjoyed playing this game! Our children really loved watching their father play with a towel on his head and their mothers hands covered with socks. The discussions that take place are priceless. Highly recommended!

Dad didn't start out enthusiastic about this, but when our six year old got that silly belly laugh going because Daddy had to wear a towel on his head and socks on his hands... well Dad actually agreed to play several more times! We modified the flushing to a general "bathroom break" for kids.My 6 year old added the "play it backwards" modification. All in all, great fun, even for Dad!!

This is a great "bring the whole family together" game. You can involve all the kids, laugh with them, remember fun times with them, and just enjoy one another.

My kids love the silliness of this game and always want the whole family to play (especially mom and dad). Getting mom and dad to do some of this goofy stuff seems to make their day. And even though it's a Christmas game, it's played all year at our home!

Wonderful Christmas board game, great to play leading up to the best Birthday Celebration ever! Our daughter loves it as much as we do! I also highly recommend the You da'Dad desk calendar by the Family Man as well, my husband loves his and has requested another one this year!

Generally speaking, I would rather stick needles in my eyes than play a board game, but this one is the (only) exception! The kids loved having to put their socks on their hands and towels on their heads. And singing their favorite Christmas carol at the top of their lungs... well, how can you top that for fun? This is a must buy. Just make sure you're wearing fresh socks before you start the game.

Our family LOVES this game! It is simple enough for the little ones and fun enough for adults. I highly recommend this as a Christmas tradition for any family. We look forward to it every year.

We first played this last Christmas - and I have never seen my 3 boys or husband laugh so hard! Especially when they had to keep singing "Silent Night" over and over! And they were so cute dressed up in their shepherd head coverings and socks on their hands! Our family has opted to create some of our own landing squares (stepping in donkey dung etc.)to break up occasional tedium of landing on same squares! A great game! Be ready to lose the self-consciousness!

Got this last year and it's by far my kids' favorite game to play (ages 4 and 6). They don't see it as a Christmas game, but any time during they year. Good laughs and good family conversation. I'll be getting it for my brothers' families this year.

This game was so much fun. Mykids really enjoyed it. Some of the things the cards tell you to do is hilarious!I also like that fact that it did not taketo long to play. I hate 3hr. games this one is just right. It really helps remember all the Biblical points for the holiday season.I would highly recommend
