I bought this as a package of 12 Bible Stories by Echo Bridge Home Entertainment for some young family members. It was not through this website. My dvd opens with a logo of Peter Pan that goes through several graphic "transformations" that look horribly demonic. It moves fast, so little children may not notice it. My brain caught it, however, so I watched it again in slow motion and it looked very evil. I do not know if this distributor kept the Peter Pan logo. I watched the dvd and noticed one scene where the script said Jesus "meditated for hours" when he was young. It showed him in a meditation position and then the camera zoomed into his eye as the scene changed. This is not in the Bible and it comes from other practices like Buddhism and Transcendental Meditation. The rest of the DVD seemed relatively OK but certainly it is not a strict rendition of the Bible. My advice is to spend your money on a better DVD of Jesus' life for your young viewers.

It is sad to see a kids movie that does not accurately portray the Bible.

I am sorry to say I would not recommend this.. Although the quality of the film is very good, I question some of the content and the way they protray the devil when he is tempting Jesus I was dissatisfied with. I wish people would stay with the scriptures when they are protraying the stories of the Bible on DVD to children... especially when you are trying to relay the full Gospel to them.. I don't beleive in bringing them fairery tales they have enough of them in the cartoons... It would make it alot easier to use the DVD's while teaching our children.

I purchased this DVD for the Sunday school class at my Church. I'm waiting to hear from the teacher as to how the children liked it.
