Claiming that "the richness of the Word of God ought to determine our prayer, not the poverty of our heart," Bonhoeffer unfolds guidelines for holy living and spiritual growth. He describes the individual's moods in relationship to God, catalogues the Psalms by their type of petition, and shows how they all point to Christ. 88 pages, softcover. Augsburg/Fortress.

A wonderful work of Bonhoeffer's. Really appreciated it.
Bonhoeffer offers a "turn in direction" by reflection of the Psalms; Gods inspired words as a means to Prayer. A must read for all; from the "passive" to the "Prayer Warriors." This little pocket book introduces the Psalms in a completely different aspect. Praise for the Father and Son, speaking the Word of God to communicate on a closer and more spritual manner; personalized by Prayer within your own spirit.

What a wonderful look at Psalms. This book is a great devotional, or basis of a good bible study for young adults to old. I really enjoyed it, as I am sure anyone would.
