I used A.C.E. curriculum for my older sons in the 90s, with great success, including teaching my #2 son how to read with ABCs With Ace and Christi.

When my #1 son attended high school, after having been home schooled for 5 1/2 years, he was a bit frustrated ,and one day asked me, "Why do I have to keep doing all this work for things I already know?"

THAT is how well-established A.C.E. is in teaching the foundation in education!

Currently, we are using A.C.E. with our youngest children. We used ABCs With Ace and Christi to teach both children to read. We took 1 year off to try a different, more "popular" curriculum, but my son and I both felt we were being held back from personal advancements and achievements, as the curriculum was very parent-led and intensive.

Just last week, my 5th level son was talking to his friend, who uses Saxon Math, and had looked at the math book. My son remarked, "Oh. I can do this, too!" His friend, replied, "Don't tell my mom. I don't know how and she has to show me."

I am quite certain that my children's vast knowledge of Scriptures is mostly in part due to A.C.E. My children have always been early finishers of their AWANA handbooks, as well as complete the review, plus accomplish extra credit, each year! Last summer, my children took part in the National Bible Bee, for the first time. My 4th level son was VERY close to qualifying for Nationals. That's pretty great, for a first year participant!

We are VERY confident in A.C.E. and it's foundation to help teach and train students to be life-long, independent learners. We intend to graduate our youngest children using A.C.E.
