The first half of the book deals with near death experiences that were NOT the joyous peaceful moving-to-the-light scenes that most of us are familiar with. Many NDEs, perhaps up to 50%, are frightening. His explanation is that those persons being revived need to be interviewed immediately after being revived or the person will block the horrible experience from his/her memory. Being a surgeon, he has been there at the time people are revived and has conducted many of these interviews himself. Although things slow down around the middle of the book, one should keep on reading, as the last 1/2 or 1/3 of the book delves into the dangers of the occult, channeling and the like, and also of end times prophecy, the New World Order, what's now going on in our schools (and that part is truly frightening), UFO's and more, information which I had not expected to find in this book, but nonetheless, is very important. This is a book everyone should read, Christian and non-Christian alike! Food for serious thought.
