I used this devotional book for years and was "fed" with consistent growth every morning...then I stopped (for some reason)...and for a long time I felt "hungry." I tried other devotionals and they were like fluff and I never felt "full." This book, to me is the meat and potatos...and I missed it...I bought another one :)

I minister to men in the county jail every Sunday afternoon. This devotional has proven to be very well received by the men; it is used more than any other one I have had. In fact, one copy ended up in another jail and a man there wrote me a letter saying how much it had helped him and asked for his own copy. I was able to get it to him; he is using it with another inmate to study the Bible.

I love to reading this book at times it is just what I need for the day. The hard part is just reading one day. Got this book for my Dad, Brother and myself. Now my Sister and Daughter would also like one. It is a great beginning and ending to the day.

This is, by far, the best devotional I've ever used. I used it one year, used another the next, then returned to this one, and am now on my third time through it. I have handed out several of them, and give them as gifts every chance I get. I also reccomend the bible study. It is wonderful.

This book (devotional) was purchased for a family member doing time in an Indiana State Women's prison. She had been using my copy of Experiencing God but hardback books are not permissable once she was in the prison system. Very few vendors carry this title in softback so it's not easy to find. Anyone who is familiar with Blackaby's writings knows the extraordinary insight and able communication he brings to biblical text. This format has allowed our family member to continue experiencing God day by day.
