I might remind the librarian who posted here - that God's Word is never outdated!
These are wondeful and I haven't, after watching almost all of them, seen one scientific item brought up that is no longer true/proven false. So they are not at all outdated in their information. I only wish we had someone today who could teach science and the Bible this way! Yes, his suits are dated, but that is not important to us. These are wonderful!

We've used the VHS's in our home-education program for years and are seeking to upgrade to DVD. These are so straightforward and non-stressful. They do not need the flashy, grab-your-attention that most modern series use. The kids enjoy teasing on his suit and tie but the clean-cut look is sooooo refreshing!!!

While this product is filmed 50+ years ago, the truths are ever so applicable to today. Most of them are simple enough for youth to understand and capture the attention of adults. They did some amazing things, and there are some funny parts too in their experiments that are good for a few laughs. There are a lot of teachable moments in these, and I definitely recommend them. However, make sure you are aware of what you are buying--they are on DVD now, but are from 1950's.

After reading the reviews, we spent $100. of our small church library budget on this series. We will not put them into our library because they are so dated. The info is good but these need to be completely redone or removed from publication. The only value to us is the plastic cases they came in. The later copyrights led us to believe that these had been updated but they have not. Most of them were made in the 40's, 50's & 60's.

We recently borrowed these DVDs from a friend. They have held my children's (ages 8 and 4) attention from the first moment. The Truth of God's Word is accurately presently, causing the 8-yr-old to comment "If someone didn't know about God, this would be a good way to tell them." This may be 'outdated' in technology; however, even that has been fascinating to the children. The opportunity to discuss how technology changes, yet God's Word remains unchanging has been powerful.

My kids (ages 9 and 10) cannot wait to watch these videos! Although they were made even before I was born, the message is still crystal clear. I would recommend these videos to anyone!

Awesome! We have the whole collection and have enjoyed each one. The scenery is outdated but the facts still hold true. It's all about GOD and everything HE has created. Great set.

Awesome videos! Despite what the viewer said about them being old, it doesn't matter. This was a turn-off for me the first minute or two only. The information he presents is so astounding it holds my interest as well as my 5-year old daughter's. This info is timeless. I borrowed the set from a friend. I am not looking to buy it. Our family loves it that much!

I have been we CBD for over 20 years and never been disappointed until now.My disappointment was immense. This series is true in content but however it was filmed over half a century ago and has not been updated. The quality is poor and uninteresting in color and format. It could not keep my attention and I will not give them as a gift to grandkids that this was intended for. The price was too much for the poor quality of the product. Like I said, the content of the information is true but needs serious updating. The sections on space travel, astronomy, etc, are oh, so far behind in time and material. Buyer beware. I understand that CBD is not responsible for the content and they only sell the product so I cannot blame CBD...But Moody...well they can and should do better that to sell this low a quality of film. Very, very disappointed that I paid over $100 for this.

Excellent product. I am so glad that I made this purchase. My daughter loves science but the public schools teach everthing on an evolution slant. These videos teach the truth of God's Word and the magnificence of His creation. I will be purchasing more sets for the Sunday School classes.

In my father's early ministry, he discovered these videos. He would show them during youth rallies. It was awesome to see the response of the youth at the end of each presentation during the invitation. These films are blessed by God as they are God honoring and are life changing.

This is a fantastic set of videos! Each video describes God's creation in such a fascinating way that it holds my interest as well as my children's. We enjoy the set so much that I want to give them as a gift for other family members.
