NavPress Dangerous Wonder: The Adventure of Childlike Faith - eBook

Remember the thrill of thinking you could fly? The adventure of going places in your imagination? The joy and abandon of running and jumping and playing hard---without worrying about what "might" happen? In Dangerous Wonder, Michael Yaconelli invites you to recapture the joy of being a child and apply it to your relationship with God. You'll be encouraged to ask difficult questions about faith and take Jesus at His word when He says, "Anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." If you're looking for the joy and freedom of faith, Dangerous Wonder will open your eyes and your life to the possibility of an exciting adventure in relationship with God. This new edition now includes a discussion guide to help you experience an even deeper relationship with God, filled with wonder and awe.

I love this book. I have read it probably 5 times, and am using it in my Sunday school class (for adults). I love the author's approach to Christian faith- and the way he sees Scripture come to life. For anyone who has thought that 'childlike faith' only referred to 'trust' - think again. It means so much more. Wonder, amazement, curiosity - all attributes not only of children but of God as well. If you could buy only one book from this wonderful website - buy this one. It is our terrible loss that Mr. Yaconelli died too soon.

Possibly one of the best books on reconnecting with the joy of simply loving God. Mike says more in these few pages than most traditional theologians do in volumes. I would highly recommend this book to all the stuffed shirts in the Church today.

All of Mike's stuff is great but this one really stands out. It's an easy read and a must have when you are feeling like you are losing touch with God.
