i actually didn't finish this book. i know lots of others loved this book- but i felt no connection whatsoever w/ Jordan. i wasn't even interested in how the story turned out. I've read other books by Carlson and loved them tho! i dunno why this one really didn't interest me. God b w/ ya'll.
This book is definitely one of my favorite books. This is the first one I have read of the series and didn't know that there was more, and when I heard that this was a series I was very happy to know that I could read more. It's about a girl named Jordan, she has a perfect life at first, the most amazing boyfriend, and then once again it's horrible. She actually ends up in a car accident but doesn't get hurt too badly. While she was in the car she screamed out to God, not knowing him, but asking for help. After the accident her friend Kara and Kara's boyfriend helped Jordan eccept God into her heart. It is a very good Christain book that I enjoyed reading every chapter, page, sentence, and word of the book!
This is an absolutely incredible book. It truly relates to teens today. Reading it has made me do some thinking and I hope it does the same for anybody who reads it. I cannot wait to continue the series!
Melody Carlson, author of the Diary of a Teenage Girl series, ARMANDO'S TREASURE, and now the TrueColors series has created another perfect book. In DEEP GREEN, Jordan Ferguson is fighting against Shawna Frye and will do anything to win the coveted prize, Timothy Lawrence. But things get nasty between her and Shawna, and she's not sure how much more she can take. But then Jordan's ex-best friend, Kara Hendricks, comes to the rescue, along with her geeky friend, Edgar. To find out what happens, read the series!
This sequel to TrueColors #1, DARK BLUE, was really good. I liked it a lot, and I will continue to buy the whole series. I think it's cool how first you're in Kara's point of view and then it changes.
