I lead a small group womens Bible Study at my church and I chose this study. We are almost halfway through. What a great study. Anne gives techniques to study and glean more from God's word than just skimming through. We have some great discussions from the lessons, and I like that Anne has us in various parts of the Bible doing our homework/studying each week.

I would recommend this study to anyone who wants to learn how to live their life expecting to see Jesus, not just shuffling through it!

When I read Anne Graham's Lotz "Expecting to See Jesus", I was deeply touched by her vulnerability to share God's gentle conviction of sinfulness in her own life as well as her fervent desire to draw near to the Lord in a position of humility. Anne reminds us of the critical nature of the hour we live in. Her message is one that "church folks" need to hear. We forget sometimes to examine our own hearts before a holy God.

Repentance is the cry of God's heart for His people. Are we willing to get back to the basics? Do we have the courage to honestly assess the sinfulness in our own lives? I am using this study with a group of women from various churches in our city and heartily encourage you to buy it. It not only exhorts us to be watchful of the time and the hour, but it embodies the heart of discipleship!
