Fundamental to Healing. Recommended / Gifted the book to many.

This book has been SO instrumental in my journey of healing, as well as preparing me for supporting others, and recognizing how to process future moments of grief.

Its principles are completely in tandem with Christian beliefs; it is not, nor ever claimed to be "a Christian book." It recognizes/affirms (never denies) our humanity within our faith. It never has a "get over it" or "just let it go" attitude that many people say, but isn't helpful in your healing/processing.

It will address the myths of grieving that exist in society, in spite of "good intent."

I refer people to ChristianBook, because I specifically want to support this business over a mega-company. **If you want balanced reviews of the method's/book's efficacy, PLEASE research outside reviews, then come back here to order! =) I've gifted this book to many people, believer and not. If we can help minister to people's pain, it's ministering!

Blessings in your pursuit of growth, in healing and in faith!

I have not read the entire book yet, but just reading part 1 has helped me realize what I have been missing that could have helped me earlier. It makes me feel understood by putting into words what I didn't understand or couldn't express. I can hardly wait to continue with part 2. This book was highly recommended by my pastor.

There are ZERO scriptures in this book - it is not a Christian grief recovery book - it uses a humanist worldview - assuming you can overcome grief within yourself following their steps. God is primarily presented as a nebulous indistinct deity that is often a barrier to recovery.

From Page 50 - "Faith does not require reason. It is spiritual, not intellectual or emotional" -- The Apostle's John, Paul and Peter disagree -- John 20:31, 2 Corinthians 10:5, 1 Peter 3:15

Not surre why "Christian"-book sells this
