Good story & characters. But still no resolution of the main plot of who is responsible for the attacks on the family, which started in Book 1 of this series.

Wanda Brunstetter makes you feel like you are right there among the Amish families she is writing about. A quick story line with a bit of a mystery entwined makes for a good reading experience, and the fact that this is the second book of a series of 3 lets you know that even when you reach the finish of this story, there is still more to come.

"A Sister's Test" is a book # 2 in the series. There is suspense, romance, and tragedy--all which are handled in a Godly way. I recommend this book to all my friends.

I really enjoyed this book. I had read the first book of this series and was anxious to read this one and just as anxious to read the last to see who is doing all the things that is getting done to the family. This is a really good book and I think the author done an excellant job in writing about all the different towns and shops and restrauants in Holmes County. I live in Ohio and have visited Holmes County a few times. In this book, I even cried for poor Ruth. My heart really went out for her for she went through so much for someone so young.

This is another wonderful book by Wanda Brunstetter. I love how the characters are so real and true. I could imagine myself as a young girl full of dreams of a loving husband and children. I cannot quite imagine how horrible it would be to lost not only the man that she felt the Lord had given to her but also the dream of ever having children. How wonderful to include in her book how God still loves and provides by giving her both of her heart's desires in the end. Thank you Wanda for your wonderful characters and inspiration!!!

I loved this book! I had it read in 2 days. The only reason that it took me that long was because of work and sleeping! Wanda Brunstetter is a wonderful author and she hooks you in with her beautiful story telling. I have learned so much from her book! She has done another fabulous job. I think I know who is behind the attacks. I can't wait for the next book!

As with all Wanda's books I was drawn to this one because of it's Amish values. To watch Ruth go through one loss after another, and trusting God to somehow make it better is so rewarding. She responds by reaching out to Abe in his misery and heartache by taking care of his children and helping around his home. So often we are so lost in our own problems we don't see other people hurting. That is why I love all Wanda's books. I am still waiting for the identity of the one who is attacking the Hostettler family, so I will be awaiting the next installment in this series. Do yourself a favor and read these books it will do your heart good.
