“Who is this Man” by John Ortberg is full of information and apologetics. It is real information that I can use to help others believe that Jesus Christ is who He says He is. John Ortberg did a great job of pointing out the historical reasons that Jesus and His life have been under so much scrutiny from the time he turned 30 until the current time. He explains why palms waved on the road to Jerusalem were more than just a Sunday afternoon celebration. He shares details about what was going on in Rome as well as Judea when Jesus walked on the earth and how our Savior drastically altered the culture and practices of pagan civilization as well as His own.
This book kept my attention for every word. It was educational as well as enlightning, and confirmed my belief that Jesus is more than most people understand. The evidence for Jesus being the Son of God is overwhelming when we understand that not only did He give up His life for us, He also wasn’t afraid to “make waves” to help others meet the creator and learn to live their lives for Him.
I highly recommend this book!
