Word Entertainment Inc Moses, The Bible Collection Series DVD

Witness one of the great escapes of history! Brimming with lavish spectacle, this visual re-creation of the Exodus story follows Moses as he grows up in Pharaoh's court, encounters God in the burning bush, parts the Red Sea, receives the Ten Commandments, and leads his people to the Promised Land. Stars Ben Kingsley and Frank Langella. Approx. 3 hours. Closed-captioned.

What can I say about Ben Kingsley? - absolutely wonderful as Moses. An excellent supporting cast and it kept your interest throughout. As with all The Bible series, this one does not disappoint.

This is one of my favorite films. Kingsley & the other fine actors do marvelous work. The scenes in the desert of Moses bringing God's people to hear YHWH are mesmerizing, and the closing scenes extremely moving. A Great depiction of Exodus, and a must own for people who enjoy watching the Bible told through cinema. This is SO much more than Heston's 10 Commandments.

I understand Andre's gripe about the burning bush scene, I find it funny whenever I hear someone impersonating the voice of the Almighty, but all will come short of filling that role. That being said the movie takes a second stab at Yahweh's voice in the Mt. Sinai scene, this my friends will not let you down. In fact it's the reason I bought the DVD, POWERFUL. All in all this is an outstanding depiction of Israel's exodus from Egypt.

Wow, not sure what Andre was expecting. I never write reviews but Moses was a very good movie and quite accurate, Kingsley did a excellent job in portraying Moses. Moses is the best in the collection but Abraham, Jacob, Joseph and David are worthing watching over and over.

This movie on Moses, the Exdous andGod's faithfullness and powerful love far exceeds the quality of the"Ten Commandments" with CharltonHeston. Never has anyone portrayedMoses so accurately and effectively.I loaned my copy out and never got it back and have looked for months to replace it. Thanks.

As I began to watch the movie I had a bad vibe about it, but I continued... it started off alright, but once I heard God's voice speaking to Moses through the burning bush, I just had to laugh and turned it off in disappointment... because for one, the person who played the voice from the burning bush sounded like an old guy on a microphone talking to moses and it wasn't pleasing.
