Customer Reviews for Church Lady: Discovering Freedom as a Woman of God
Review 1 for Church Lady: Discovering Freedom as a Woman of God
Church Lady, Freed to be a Woman of God, is written by Chandra Peele and her fun personality shines through in this thought provoking book. I enjoyed her humor and especially her simple writing style. What does it mean to be a “church lady?” As you read this book you will realize that all woman who are Christian’s have the potential to be a “church lady.” We need to accept who we are in Christ and look to him for the strength to walk this Christian life. I liked this book but got bored a few times so only gave it a 4/5 stars.
I would like to thank NetGalley and the publisher for the copy of this book I enjoyed reading. I gave an honest review based on my opinion of what I read.

Review 2 for Church Lady: Discovering Freedom as a Woman of God
The author has tried to restore the luster to a term that has many, many negative connotations. She does knit together some interesting anecdotes that seemed more like transcripts than anything else to me. It is quite readable and for those that like this sort of book you will enjoy it.
