Holiday Living - Even for Grandmas
Date:March 5, 2013
I just started reading 'Holiday Living'. After reading all the preliminary pages, starting chapter one and finding what the main thrust of the book was, I eagerly jumped to chapter 6 about St Patrick's Day, as that is the next upcoming holiday. My Granddaughter's wedding is coming up March 16th, the Saturday before St Patrick's Day. Most of our family members will be present and we will be spending St Patrick's Day together, so I read to find out what I, as Mom and G'Ma, can bring to the table to help my family understand the importance of faith and family and how to make this particular opportunity a 'holy day' indeed. I wasn't disappointed. I am eager to use what I learned and look forward to continuing reading about making holidays holy days. I can truly say 'Brenda Poinsett is my favorite author and I am always amazed at her insight into a vast array of subjects, all centered around Jesus.'
