the commentaries are great. easy to read, specific and with sufficient depth for all levels. the binder is not strong enough, especially the old testament. it has already broken.

The binding is of poor quality . I enjoyed reading the commentaries, however before I could read thru Matthew and Exodus the binding fell apart .

I have used this product for years and have really enjoyed it. I have given copies of these commentaries to both freinds and family. These books are great for devotional time and for more in-depth study of the scriptures. I have 2 years of bible college, which doesn't make me any kind of bible scholar, but these commentaries at least match if not exceed that level of learning. These books also have fairly extensive bibliograghies
so you can do even deeper study if you want to. All around awesome study guides. You can't go wrong with these books.

This is the one....not too wordy to be boring and obsecure and just enough to open the text up. Reliable and accurate...you can not get a better commentary of the whole bible for the price....this is excellent value

This turned out to be a great set of books that explain in clear language concepts of the Holy Word. Yet I found the reading to have a layer of complexity that adds understanding. The book set price was very reasonable and I would not hesitate to recommend this series to anyone wanting to learn and understand the Holy scriptures.

I already was familiar with this commentary series so I knew it was good. I appreciate how they go through the Bible verse by verse, break down difficult words and passages, and while they give several views on difficult passages, they also state the one that they feel is the best option and has the most Scriptural support. The historical and cultural background discussions really help me understand what I am reading better. Overall I feel this commentary series more than others I have read is clear and accurate and is helping me to have a deeper understanding of the Bible ...and that of course is a wonderful thing.

I love this commentary. I have used it already for my bible class and I highly recommend it. It is in depth yet understandable to the lay person. Definitely worth having for those who love to study God's Word.

This commentary is very easy to understand yet very detailed. Many commentaries seem to be written for those who have Bible degrees. This is great for those with degrees or those without. Excellent down-to-earth reading!
