I used this devotional book for years and was "fed" with consistent growth every morning...then I stopped (for some reason)...and for a long time I felt "hungry." I tried other devotionals and they were like fluff and I never felt "full." This book, to me is the meat and potatos...and I missed it...I bought another one :)

The Blackabys have done it again!! This devotional has truly MEANINGFUL thoughts expressed concisely and succinctly. These authors give in-depth insight into the daily scripture reading. I have been a Christian for 43 years and am appreciating the revelation that the Holy Spirit has given these men; I am seeing some of the scriptures in a "new light." I have bought 5 copies and have already given three to friends.

I have read a lot of devotionals, but this one is my favorite. i recomend this devotion for everyone. if you dont have this on your shelf you are missing out!

It has been thought-provoking and thoroughly grounded in scripture and experience. Perfect for challenging each of us to dig deeper and be what God really wants us to be. Important for a fulfilling Christ-centred life! Not for those who don't want to be challenged in thinking or action.

I minister to men in the county jail every Sunday afternoon. This devotional has proven to be very well received by the men; it is used more than any other one I have had. In fact, one copy ended up in another jail and a man there wrote me a letter saying how much it had helped him and asked for his own copy. I was able to get it to him; he is using it with another inmate to study the Bible.
