My kids love these books both for read aloud and reading silently. Each adventure has lively mystery and a hope for the lost coming to repentance.

My son is 8 and we read a chapter every night from this series. We absolutely love these books! He is learning about a different era, what kids did and played without TV and other electronic equipment. BUT most of all he is learning about god's love and how to treat others. These books are timeless and the lessons learned from them are too. I enjoy them a great deal, too.
