Better than expected!

I am thoroughly impressed with this book. I got it for use in marital counseling, but have continued studying it for use with parent/child conflict. This is not some vague "fluff" but very precise and instructional. Even if you don't have serious issues in your marriage, I promise this book will convict you on some level, and application of the principles will improve an already good marriage.

This is a great book, I would highly recommend reading and using this book for families who have less than perfect communication skills. I especially liked the thoughts on handling discipline issues when there is conflict involving children. I have been trying to put some of these concepts into place in our home to help our children with forgiving one another. There is also good material for conflict between adults, but my main need was dealing with our conflicts with and between our children so that seemed to be the most beneficial part of the book for us.
