I had tried for awhile to buy these when they were still in a 4 volume set; but for whatever reason, it never became available. Barnhouse's very readable and insightful commentary on the epistle to the Christian church at Rome is such a joy to read. I was "fed" on every page, word after word, sentence after sentence, paragraph after paragraph. If I could choose a small handful of books that I could take with me into Eternity, these would definitely make the list. Aside from GOD's Word, never I have received so much for so little. I will be reading these again and again for years to come. Don't hesitate to buy these; who knows how long they'll continue to be published.

I received this set as a gift! This is a great set. Barnhouse was a great writer and preacher! He was way ahead of his time. I just wished it was in hardback. I use my books often, and for some reason I just can't get along with paperback books.
