Good for beginners, but could be better.

My kids (5 and 7 years old) love coloring the pages of this book, and they are soaking up the vocabulary. I'm happy with the content; though I've run across one typo so far: a feminine article that should have been masculine. I am glad I didn't order one of these for each kid, though, because the print goes all the way over to the the perforation on most pages. It's so close that, were I to punch holes in the pages to put them in the notebook, some of the words would be missing letters. My second-grader uses his binder to study the lessons, so I was obliged to photocopy the whole book so he could keep the pages in the binder.

This is a great book if you are teaching your child Spanish and do not know the basics yourself.

A very basic introduction -- it teaches vocabulary, but not grammar. It worked for us because my son was able to learn enough vocabulary words to develop an interest in the language itself. The pronunciation guide is wonderful.
