I laughed out loud in several places and I love the interaction and the chemistry between Cindy and Jeremiah. Although they come from two completely different faiths, they learn how to work together. I think that's the best part of this series. I don't really re-read books as a rule, but I will be with this series.

Again the author had me stumped - I only began to have a hint at almost the very end who the killer was. Now I'm itching to read number three. Again, this is not for the faint-hearted, but a great adult mystery. Once again, the author's grammar could have used some improvement. Great book at an even greater price. Get it today!!

Someone is dog-napping both stray & pedigree dogs as well as killing some of their owners. As a charity tries to provide canine companions to the homeless and encourage others to adopt dogs as well, anyone with a new dog could be the next target for this dog-napping serial killer. The church secretary and the rabbi once again work together, along with the head of the charity, to uncover the culprit and the reasoning for these strange crimes.
