Paul Borden writes from personal experience as one who has helped a number of local churches get back in the game of doing what the church was intended to do. His vision is to bring change that will impact lives by getting Christians off the sidelines and actively involved in the mission field. Lest you confuse that to mean missionary work in some foreign country, let me clarify: the mission field begins right outside the doors of every church and goes all the way around the world. The process is not a one size fits all approach, because every church is different much like every person is different. The book is not intended for casual reading but rather as a guidebook to help denominations, associations, and other church entities to get focused on the process and systems involved in making this happen in a local setting. With so many churches struggling to stay alive, every denominational leader should read this book.
