Facing The Giant is an excellent movie and everyone home should have this movie. The story reviews what everyone has experience from time to time. We all go through test and trials. All have experienced circumstances that can cause us to second guess God and our salvation. But when we hold to God unchanging hand inspite of what our circumstance and situation is display at that moment; then we allow God to show himself strong and begin to turn our situation around in our favor.

This movie had everything in it. Empathy for the coach,
dislike for the betrayal of the assistant coach. Answered prayer for the wife (became pregnant) and the coach (a second chance to make the finals) and for the family (a car that runs). Great storyline. God's provisions were worked into the movie very smoothly.

My children and I came across this movie today on cable and just had the movie playing in the background. Before I knew it everyone had stopped what they were doing and gave this amazing movie all their attention, a feat in itself. I was so moved by this movie and my kids as well. We cried, we laughed, and we praised the Lord along with the characters. By far this has been one of the best movies we've ever watched together as a family. The acting was superb and I'm no critic but Mr. Kendrick (a.k.a, Coach Brady) deserves an Oscar, especially for the scene in which he gets Brock to "give his very best". I'm in awe of the entire project and what a wonderful experience it had to have been to make the movie. I noticed all the catering was done by cast and crew, that says a lot about the entire project. Please pass this review on to Mr. kendrick as I noticed this was his "baby". Job well done!!! I would love to watch any other movie ever made by this gentleman and his crew. And yes, I would pay the big bucks to go see his movies.

This is an awesome movie. It shows how God works in our lives and how He will bless us according to our faith. This movie is very inspiring and helpful in helping to build our faith in God and confidence in ourselves and to love and forgive one another and most of all, to be thankful for all things. This is a great family movie, without worries of inappropriate language or activities. I purchased Facing the Giants, Fireproof, and Courageous (my favorite), for several wedding gifts. Anything by the Sherwood group, I would go to see and/or purchase in a heartbeat!
