I have mixed feelings about the candles. They are only good for one Advent season because they are so fast burning. The price was right. Maybe it is good that one doesn't have to store them for next season.

The candles arrived promptly and despite my concerns that candles were difficult to protect in shipping, they were straight and undamaged. The advent colors were lovely and I was grateful to have found this very difficult to locate sized candle for my advent wreath.

The candles were to small to fit in the holder in the wreath and would fall over. Maybe I didn't read carefully when I ordered. I thought these candles went with this wreath.

I bought these candles to go into the Nativity Advent Wreath that I also bought from Christian Book, and they don't fit. They also didn't come with the white center candle. So now I have to haul myself over to Hobby Lobby to find candles that fit.

BUYER BEWARE. This is my first year doing an Advent Wreath. These candles were too thin for the purple advent wreath I purchased with them. No one carried the wax dots/adapters to make them fit as only Yankee Candle had them but were out til next year. CB said they could not help me either. I could not find any advent candles after Advent started, so MAKE SURE YOUR CANDLES WILL FIT YOUR WREATH. After one week of struggling to keep them upright while lit (I had to hold them), I ended up putting folded up tissue paper/napkins in the bottom of the holders to make them stand upright. Apparently they are not the standard size that fits into the normal wreaths. Who knew? I wasn't aware there were different widths of taper candles before this problem occurred. Now I know -- and you do too.
