I have a 6th grader and and 8th grader. As often as possible I try to find curriculum that I can teach both at the same time with out it being too hard for the younger or too easy for the older one. This book is a great middle ground, I also couple it with some other resources to create a well rounded Social Studies class. They ask questions and seem to really understand the purpose of the Constitution. It gets an A+ from me!

I think the material is very well written and accurate, but I feel that it is too easy for students that are in 7-8th grade, even though the book is labeled 5-8th. It is definately closer to a 5th grade level in my opinion.

My 8th grade daughter needed something to help her in learning about American Government. Her older sister would be studying Civics at the same time, so I found this little book that covers much of our U.S. history and government, in a simple way. I believe it will take the "fear factor" out of learning this topic.

I found this workbook after I had to "scrap" the original US Constitution currirulum I orginally bought. I think this book has the perfect amount of information about the US Constitution and the branches of government. It is a typical text book approach to teaching. The child reads a section of text and then answers questions on it. My 7th grader really likes this book. I'm very glad I found it.
