I ordered a hymn board and extra set of numbers. I recieved both. But the numbers are not usable on the board since it is too small for the board grooves.

Hymnal board replacement numbers are hard to find. When I removed these from the package, they were flimsy compared to the older set that we have. This made me feel like they may not stand up over time. I reconsidered since they are plastic coated and my old set has frayed edges (making them difficult to get into the hymn board). Plus I thought with the low price point it would be affordable to replace them if they didn't last long. They are so thin, however, they are difficult to get into the groove of the hymn board easily. Unless you hit the exact angle, they stick. They bend too easily also. I am not only regretting my purchase, but regretting that I bought so many sets!!!

The numbers fit perfectly, even though we thought that there may be a problem because our hymn boards have been painted. We live in an isolated area and are so glad to find numbers available on the internet because we have been using old, mismatched numbers for so long.

It would make more sense if each set included 2 each of number "2" and "3", and 3 or 4 each of number "1", as many hymns are in the 100-199 number range and also in the #200-299 range.
