ZonderKidz Benjamin's Box: The Story of the Resurrection Eggs

This tale of a child following Jesus during Biblical times to find out who he is will teach your children lessons from the Bible.

What are the treasures in Benjamin's Box? Come along with Benjamin and see. Like all boys and girls, Benjamin is very, very curious. Unlike children of today, however, Benjamin lives during the days of Christ! When Jesus comes to Jerusalem, Benjamin decides to follow Him and find out who He really is. At first, he thinks Jesus is a teacher, then a king. At last, Benjamin learns the good news--news that every child (and grown-up!) will want to share. Recommended for ages 4 to 7.

This is a great book to go along with the Resurrection Eggs. My boys (5 and 3 years old) loved it and it kept their interest!

We use Benjamin's Box in conjunction with the resurrection eggs each Easter and the kids look forward to discovering what is in each egg and reading the story. Our kids started this tradition when they were 3 and 4 years old and we'll likely continue it until 7 or 8 years old. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who would like to explore the Easter story from a different perspective. I would highly encourage making your own resurrection eggs or purchasing them as they and this book go well together.

We are using this product for our Easter egg hunt and I am very excited about it. The book really brings the story of Jesus' ultimate grace to the children. I would highly recommend this book. We are giving each family one of these books at the end of the morning.

I can hardly wait for this Sunday (Apr. 24th). I hope my grade 2 and 3 children will go home just as excited. I have the carton of Resurrection Eggs, which can be used with this story. I bought each child a little wooden chest (Michaels Arts & Crafts), and managed to get all but 4 of the items found in the Resurrection Eggs, for each child. The 4 I couldn't find, I printed off 1.5" pictures on card stock, so each child will have a complete little "Benjamen's Box" and hopefully carry this story close to their hearts.
