This is one of the best books on Christian growth I have read, along with The Bookends of the Christian Life by Jerry Bridges. Both books talk about how the Gospel is the source of our justification and sanctification. If you want to grow in grace (2 Peter 3:18), this book is for you.

This book has been such an encouragement to me. It presents such a winsome yet Biblical viewpoint of the great love of God for His people, and demonstrates how our desire to be obedient is grounded in His love for us.
