I bought this for my son for Easter, his first "real" bible. He was so excited and toted it for the next week. My daughter loved the adventure bible so I thought this would be good for him to. He is 6 and can't read fully yet so that frustrates him, but we can read it together and he can understand it better than other versions.

My daughter was tickled pink when she held her new Bible for the first time. The Adventure Bible was perfect for her. Nice colours and pictures and tid-bits of information everywhere to help her understand the scriptures better. The cover is a beautiful shade of pink and I was able to get her name on it. How special! I highly recommend this Bible for young girls.

My son loves his new Bible so much he sleeps with it at night! Top quality construction and beautiful cover. I especially loved that I could have my child's name added to the cover. It made it extra special! The Adventure Bibles are well made and so engaging for young children. Very happy with my purchase!

We bought this Bible because we drove a mentally-handicapped person home from church one day. He is very friendly and we talked about alot of things. He said he did not have a Bible. My wife asked if he would read one, he said he cannot read good and she asked if he wanted a simpler one than a KJV. He said he would. She searched your website & ordered this one. The very week we received it he was admitted into a psych. hospital. I visited him a few times and gave him the Bible of which he was thankful. He has since been released but moved. Our prayer is that he continues to read his Bible.

My 6 year old son told me that he wanted a Bible of his own to read. I searched the internet and found this one at a good price plus it is for young readers. We anxiously waited on it to arrive and he's been reading it ever since!

We gave this as a gift to our 7-year-old daughter, whose only Christmas gift request was a Bible of her own. (Of course, she received other gifts from friends and family.) The cover is the sweetest shade of pink, and it is so soft!
Inside, there is, of course, the Bible. It is in a format that is easy for her to comprehend. The NIRV is a good translation for her age group. I'm thinking specifically of Song of Solomon and Judges chapter 19. While this translation does not omit anything (or mislead), it certainly tempers things!
My daughter loves this Bible. The extras are relevant and age-appropriate.
I highly recommend it!

My 6 year-old son got a real Bible that had lots of color, easy to understand, and lots of neat sections that really made it fun to read and learn the Bible. Certain terms we adults take for granted were explained (I found myself reading them!) is clear simple language.
In church he was flipping through the Bible along with his sister and brothers like a pro! He begs me to read it to him and talk about the Bible. Awesome!

This has been such a wonderful Bible for my daughter and I to read. She is in 4th grade and this Bible is easy for her to read and understand. Especially with the features it offers such as ,Words To Treasure, Did You Know, People In Bible Times, and so on. Also it works great for Sunday School! I like the how it lays flat while reading. The maps in the back and dictionary are also a great feature and we use them alot so she can better learn. I would absolutely recommend this Aventure Bible to all of my friends!

I homeschool my 6 yr old son at the second grade level and bought him this Bible in hopes that he could read it himself and understand it. Score!!! He loves it and can read it well. We are very happy with the Adventure Bible NIrV! My son looks forward to finding all the books of the Bible by himself and locating the verses. I don't need to explain things so much now because they are written so children can understand.
