This was one of the best Christmas stories I have ever read. I loved the spiritual aspect she brings in these and the drama is outstanding. In other words I really enjoyed every part. She is a great writer and I look forward to reading more of her books.

I read this last Christmas and never did leave a review. I loved it so much, I bought a few copies as gifts for Christmas this year. As always, Melody Carlson delivers great entertainment. I was able to empathize with Lena as her sad situation unfolds. But soon the hand of God begins to open doors for her and circumstances begin to change and by the time the book is closed for the final time, you have a great feeling of satisfaction and joy. I will probably read it again next Christmas - I liked it that much!
I recommend this for adults or teens, and while the price is so low - you ought to get a few <grin>.

This was an excellent book! I couldn't put it down, I started it last night and finished it today. I'm kind of sad that I finished it already, but I couldn't stop. There needs to be more books like this, an easy read, great message, values and lessons to learn! Christmas at Harrington's far exceeded my expectations of a cozy Christmas book.

This is such a sweet and heartwarming story! I quickly fell I love with the characters and was sorry when it came to an end! I found myself wanting to know more about how things turned out, and it left me thinking about how i would treat "the stranger sitting beside me"! A great read at the Holidays of anytime!!!

If you are looking for a great book to read over the holidays, I truly recommend Christmas at Harrington's. This is a traditional feel good christmas story, with a unconventional heroine. Lena has just been released from jail and she struggles to find a job and start her life over. Along the way God puts people in her life she never thought she would like, a job she never would have considered and a faith she has never known.
It's a quick read, I read it in a single afternoon. I love this book.

I really enjoyed this book. I enjoyed the engaging story and the charactors. By example it shows that anyone can help others, even if they are needy themselves. I particularly enjoyed the underlying theme of God's providence, redemption and setting things right. Great story of hope. Great ending. I will have to shop for more books by this author!

I enjoyed this short Christmas book It was so much more story than the usual "fluff" that *Christmas novels* are. There was plot, character development and conflict - all made for a good read. My husband enjoyed it too!
