Math Mom5 Stars Out Of 5Fine Practice for LifeFebruary 16, 2017Math MomQuality: 0Value: 0Meets Expectations: 0After accomplishing this curriculum, a review is our final step. This entire pack was wonderful for practical learning of the basics of accounting. It gives not only math, but the thought process for understanding a job field. Whether you would like to be an accountant or even begin a small business, this series gives you the gist of it. Most of the lessons were understandable by the student, with only a bit of coaching from a parent.

Marta Zook5 Stars Out Of 5Great course for ALL students, college bound or notMarch 10, 2024Marta ZookQuality: 5Value: 5Meets Expectations: 5I taught this curriculum to both our kids (six years apart) in high school, and both independently thanked me for doing so as they were so thankful for having taken it. It gave both of them a "leg up" in their first accounting class in college. Because of that, both also ended up being able to help their classmates grasp these foundational concepts they had learned in high school. I highly recommend this material for any student, college-bound (especially business majors), or not.

Jaye1 Stars Out Of 5DisappointedOctober 26, 2015JayeQuality: 1Value: 1Meets Expectations: 1This curriculum is supposed to be for "grades 7 & up" - I'd like to meet the 7th grader who could digest this material. My husband (who has a Bachelor of Science in finance) could not believe how complicated the curriculum makes simple transactions appear. Very poorly presented material.

ajthompsonSouth DakotaAge: 25-34Gender: female1 Stars Out Of 5Much too tediousDecember 1, 2022ajthompsonSouth DakotaAge: 25-34Gender: femaleThis curriculum is definitely what you would call drill and kill. The work is much too tedious and it's a huge pain to grade. Even my husband, who is an accountant, is not a fan of this curriculum. To top it off, some of the pages did not print and so we were unable to do all of the exercises. Neither Alpha and Omega nor Christianbook were williing to do anything about that.
