Customer Reviews for Tyndale Entertainment Adventures in Odyssey ® #40: Out of Control

Tyndale Entertainment Adventures in Odyssey ® #40: Out of Control

Stand by for chaos! Connie and the gang think they're doing another safe, scripted B:TV program. But that's before the fire, the okra incident and the renegade nose. Meanwhile, Liz's brother Mark just got engaged. How's she supposed to fit in now that she's second fiddle? Missing families, missing identities and missing the point all figure prominently in the 40th installment of Adventures in Odyssey.

I believe listening to this series is helping my children learn how to learn audibly. (Will help them in college or in their careers when they have to go attend lectures.)
I love the fun way my kids are learning morals! When they opened this shared gift on Christmas Morning they screamed with excitement, even more so than when they opened their individual gifts! This was the gift they were most excited about!

This one has several good episodes on it and that I number amoung my favorites.
"Bassett Hounds" is about Wooton Bassett and a family reunion. He talks Bernard Walton into going with him for support. Bernard soon sees first hand what Wooton is up against with his siblings and other relatives.
"It's All About Me" - Connie gets jealous of her boyfriend Mitch when - through her helpfullness - becomes more popular on the radio that she is.
"The Case of the Disappearing Hortons" - Liz and her family completely disappear and no one has seen or heard from them in a while. What happened to them? Can Mandy and Jared find them?
"Here Today, Gone Tomorrow?" Part 1, 2 and 3 - Mitch gets offered a job in the FBI and has to make a life changing decision. Will it spell the end of him and Connie?

Your children will enjoy hours of entertainment with this set from AIO. The lessons they learn and the opportunities for discussion continue in this series as they have in all of the AIO stories.

My 4 kids can't get enough of this series. (ages 7-12) We know and love all the characters and the lessons they teach in a fun and entertaining way. They ask for Adventures in Odyssey as soon as we get in the van.

Currently I own 40 audio series albums of "Adventures in Odyssey". I have only been somewhat disappointed in one album, but this is definitely not it. "Out of Control" is yet another well done piece of work by the actors and producers of AIO. My husband and I do not have children. I am 49 years old and so look forward to each and every episode FOTF puts out. They are funny, lively, entertaining, but mostly, all ages can benefit from the lessons they teach with each story. They teach how to want to have a heart like Jesus. I can't wait to purchase #41 "In Hot Pursuit" - I have it listed on my "wishlist" with Christianbook.com.

This exciting album features a BTV program on Unity, with Connie directing and Alex Jefferson recording. Packed with it all, from FBI cases to Little League, the whole family will love this 40th Adventure in Odyssey!!
