This was an Easter gift to my 8 year old daughter. It was an upgrade from her NIrV bible for school since the NIV is used most for memory verses and such at church and school. I actually let her pick it out but she didn't receive until Easter Sunday. She loved her previous adventure bible and preferred it over her friends faithgirlz version. She has an adventurous spirit so it is very fitting. She loves her new bible and can follow along easier during chapel and bible class.

These were well received by the kids who graduated from our Kindergarten Sunday School class! Breaking down the Ten Commandments and how to accept Jesus into their hearts made it attractive to me.

I really loved this product, because it is easy to read. Also, it is easy to understand and has lots of information about the passages in this Bible. When I got it I was so excited to start reading it. Sure, its a kids Bible, but I'm going to keep it forever!

NIV is an excellent translation widely used. The features of the Adventure Bible learning highlights are these:
*Words to treasure--key verses
*Did You Know?--interesting small facts

Our 10 year old grandson needed a Bible for Sunday school. Someone recommended the Adventure Bible. So, we ordered one from Christianbook.com. As soon as we gave it to him, our grandson started looking through it and asking questions. It was amazing. In Sunday school, he was able to volunteer to read from his new Bible. Money well spent.

As a Sunday School teacher, I use this Bible as a prize. Because they have to "earn" it, they value it more highly, and bring it almost every Sunday. It's teaching them to love God's word and how to use it.

This is a great bible for kids who are already reading. I appreciate all of the facts with the added bonus features. I often feel like kids' bibles, especially little childrens', leave out too many details of bible stories. This is just like an adult's NIV, but with bonus things to keep kids interested. Very cool!
