MOST excellent! Thought provoking..scholarly...awesome....The study guide in the back is very challenging. I will read this over and over again. You will grow closer and closer to God with every turn of the page. Bridges immerses you in biblical truth that will change you view of God...new Christian or mature Christian, you will be effected..I plan to use this edition for my family daily Prayer and Bible Study. Highly recommended. Fear==[1] to cause to Tremble, [2]reverence, awe....I worship an awesome God!

I recommend anything that Jerry Bridges writes, but I believe that The Joy of Fearing God is one of his best. We gave copies of it to our young people who have graduated from college this past year. This subject is one which is greatly needed by every child of God.
