A good read. Very helpful and thorough. It cover the subject of speaking in tongues in a thoughtful and caring manner. After reading this, I don't know why anyone would not want to speak in tongues.

I am so glad Pastor Hayford wrote this awesome & rare book. It not only has Biblical back up & incredible testimonies about why those who have accepted Christ should also invite the fullness of His spirit, but it is a book that can be recommended in confidence to those who are unsure about praying in the spirit because of the integrity of Hayford's ministry & character. Bravo Pastor Hayford!

Hayford deals with the often controversial gift of "tongues." I found this book to be filled with great, everyday illustrations of the power of praying in a heavenly language. If you are not from a charismatic background, you may struggle with some of Hayford's termonlogy but you can catch on quick. My only drawback from this book is that Hayford does not give a strong biblical reason for his beliefs as outlined in this book. He does deal with a few texts but does not take issue with Pentecostal or Non-Pentecostal theologians. I believe he could have made a stronger argument from Scripture than by experience as Hayford does in this book.
