Gospel Light The Unquenchable Worshipper: Coming Back to the Heart of Worship

The Unquenchable Worshipper issues a passionate call for a return to a pure, first-love lifestyle of worship. In his first book release, respected worship leader and songwriter Matt Redman writes: "The revelation of God is the fuel for the fire of our worship. And there is always more fuel for the fire. When we open the eyes of our heart, God's revelation comes flying at us from so many different angles." Open the eyes of your heart and let the gut-level message of The Unquenchable Worshipper cause you, like martyred missionary Jim Elliot, to say, "Saturate me with the oil of Thy Spirit, that I may be aflame. Make me Thy fuel O flame of God."

I have given out several copies since I first came accross it a few years ago because I am impressed with all that in the little book. I have given my Worship Pastor a copy and will give the rest of my staff a copy at my new church. The analogy of the fire in the first chapter makes the book worth the price. Book is great because Matt Redman obviously knows what real worship is all about! I give the book a 5 star rating!

I was so blessed by this book. It really opened my eyes and put worship in prospective for me. Instead of being a worship leader I am a lead worshipper!

I highly recommend "The Unquenchable Worshiper",if you are ready for sincere, true and pure worship. Matt Redman opens with who is the unquenchable worshiper and moves through ten levels of passionate worship that our Father is looking for and truly pleased with. This book will lead you to open your heart to the greater love our Father has for us and how to fully express our utmost love for Him.

Matt Redman is an experienced, dedicated, and widely-known worship leader. His focus here is his discovery that true worship is more important than mastering 'techniques.' If you'are a worship leader, you will appreciate the insights he gained in 'getting there.'

If you are or want to be in music ministry OR want to build a strong work relationship with your Worship Pastor, this is the book to read. Matt Redman takes the reading deep into the "otherness" of God and what does that mean and how that should create an unquenchable worshiper in all of us.

I read this book as a devotional with a friend and we found it to be both an encouragement and a challenge to our Christian walk. He is a member of the worship team at his church and he has recommended it to everyone on the team. I think anyone interested in studying worship would find that this book is a great way to start.

The author, Matt Redman, is a pioneer and respected leader in the praise and worship movement. His call is important: transcend human emotions and allow the power of God to flow through you. Redman places strong emphasis on "revelation" during the praise and worship service. I always recommend THE PRAYER OF HANNAH by Kenn Gividen

What a wonderful book! As leaders of our worship team, my husband and I are giving each member of the team their own copy. Such a little book, but so completely filled with encouraging and inspiring words. It's really helped me through some of the frustrations and discouragements that can come up against the worship ministry. It should be required reading for every worship team member! Good stuff!

Excellent! I'd like every member of our worship team to have their own copy of this book. Matt Redman inspires the reader to become a true worshipper (see Jn 4:23&24). Great scripture support! I'm ready to read it again! If you are involved in worship ministry in any way, I highly recommend you read this book!

This book was such an inspiration to my life and my ministry. Sometimes we go through things in our life and we think that we can't go on. One thing that sometimes we fail to remember is that our heavenly father is there carrying us through whatever we are going through. He will never give us more than we can bear and we just to put everything aside and give Him all the honor and the glory that our King deserves. Just come and pour your heart out on His feet. That is what we need to come back and do. This book has helped me to remember just to do that. I thank Matt Redman for writing such a powerful book like this and I thank God that he gave him the words to put this together. It had been a real eye opener and a blessing! God bless you!
